March 2010 Dear Alumni and Friends of Nativity of Mary, It has been our tradition for the past nine years, to host an adult evening fundraiser to help support the school. This fun event will take place Friday, April 23th from 7:00pm – Midnight. Each year, alumni, parishioners and parents look forward to this great night of good food, camaraderie and great shopping finds. Over the years we have been able to purchase new desks, new lockers, new computers, as well as supplies for the classrooms – and have a lot of fun! As alumni, you always have a standing invitation to our Spring Social event. It’s an exciting event with both a Silent and Live Auction. Let us know you’re coming and we’ll have a ticket waiting for you at the door! The fee of $25. per person is waived for each adult alumnus or former teacher/staff and one adult guest. To attend this event as guests of Nativity of Mary School please RSVP by April 16 with your name, graduation year or years you taught and the name of your guest (if applicable). We are in the midst of planning this wonderful event and would also welcome any contribution/donation toward our auction event. Contributions of all sizes will help our effort. There are many ways you can help: Gift certificates or cash donation Donation of new products Purchasing advertising space in our auction catalog Enclosed is a donation form and envelope with further information. You may also contact the school or our event coordinator, Joan McCrory, at mccroryclan@hotmail.com for any additional questions you may have or to make arrangements to pick up your donation. As always, we are working hard to grow our alumni network. It’s amazing to see the breadth of Nativity alumni we have out there. At last fall’s 60th Anniversary and Fall Festival we were excited to see all the alumni that came to celebrate with us! It’s enjoyable to see people getting connected and reacquainted, sharing their experiences and memories.
