Online Grades – If at any time the online grades appear to have not been recently updated, please alert me of the problem via email.  They should always have been updated within a day or two; otherwise there is some sort of technical problem.

 

• Late work policy: 10% will be deducted for each school day that an assignment is late.  After 5 school days, the assignments will only be accepted for 50% credit.

 

• Any student who earns a grade of C+ or lower on a test or quiz (excluding Current Events Quizzes) may retake that test or quiz within 5 school days.  The grades will then be averaged together for a final grade.  There will be no retakes for daily homework assignments.

*Attention 7^th grade: We will be starting the Junior Achievement program on Monday, May 7^th.  This program involves community business volunteers coming into the classroom to teach about economics 2 days per week for 3 weeks.  However, because the two volunteers need to come on different days of the week to accommodate their schedules, the two 7^th grade classes will be at different points in the curriculum for the rest of the school year – meaning that each class will be doing different things than the other class each day.  I will continue to update the website each Monday, and throughout the week, to reflect what we are doing in each of the respective classes. 

 

* Also be aware that the 7^th grade will soon be having the chapter 8 test.  Right now, the test is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 15^th for both classes.
