Fifth Grade PowerPoint Project- MN Cities

In this project, you will research a Minnesota city, take notes on the information you find, create a PowerPoint presentation about it, and present your PowerPoint to the class.

You will have 1 class period to research, and 3 class periods to create your PowerPoint.

Your PowerPoint must contain the following:

1 introduction slide (include your name and your title)

2 slides on interesting facts. you must include at least 10 interesting facts.

1 slide telling of the types of business and industry in your city. (What kinds of jobs do the people there have?)

1 slide on recreational activities in your city. (What fun stuff can you do there?)

1 slide on the history of your city

1 slide on geography (rivers, lakes, what county is it in?, What part of the state is it in?)

Your project must have at least 5 pictures in it.

Your project must contain navigation buttons to use on the Smart Board. You should be able to go backward and forward on all of your slides.

Your project must contain at least 6 animations.
