Throughout this season of Advent we will hear the prophets present to us two related calls – conversion and comfort. They go hand-in-hand. Turn to God and you will find comfort.
Advent is a season for us to hear the promise, to look inward, to turn away from the darkness, and to find comfort. In that hope, Nativity of Mary and our neighboring parishes offer the following opportunities for you to celebrate the Sacrament of Confession in this Season of Advent:
Pax Christi – Tuesday, December 1, 7:00 pm
St Richard – Saturday, December 12, 10:00 am
Assumption – Tuesday, December 15, 7:00 pm
St Edward – December 1, 11:00 am & 7:00 pm
Nativity of Mary – December 3, 9:45 with the school children
Nativity of Mary – December 10, 7:00 pm
Nativity of Mary – Individual confessions on Saturdays from 2:30 – 3:30 pm and on the four Sundays of Advent from 9:45-10:15 am. Confessions are also always available by appointment (or even walk-in when I’m around).
Make a visit to the Sacrament of Confession. It will bring to your heart the promised comfort and joy of Christmas.
Heaven Help Us Players also can help to enrich your Advent time of preparation as they present “Fear Not! Reflections at the Manger.” Performances will take place here at Nativity of Mary at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 18 and at St. Bonaventure at 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 19.
A Savior comes. Come out to greet Him!
