Nativity is participating in Cross Catholic Outreach's Box of Joy program! Boxes must be returned to Nativity by Monday, November 13th. A drop-off table will be available in the Gathering Space this weekend, November 11th and 12th.
The Box of Joy outreach program provides gifts and an opportunity to share the gospel with impoverished children all around the world. Each child who receives a Box of Joy also receives a rosary and a booklet in their own language that tells The Story of Jesus. Box of Joy provides hope to children in need. Each gift represents Christ’s love and might be the only Christmas gift they receive.
Since its inception, 512,855 Box of Joy gifts have blessed boys and girls in nine developing countries. In the 2022 Box of Joy season, 118,990 gifts were sent to children in six countries: the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Honduras and Malawi. We hope to increase the number of Box of Joy gifts sent for Christmas 2023!
Nativity is currently out of boxes, but if you would like to donate please use a shoe box from home or a plastic bag of similar size.
