Youth Group
Our mission is to unite our hearts to Christ through prayer, service to our community,strengthening our knowledge of the faith, and leading others to know Him. The academic year is upon us and so is the new youth ministry year. See the links below to register for any of our faith formation and youth ministry events. Saturday Night Alive!
Details Coming Soon Mass at 4:15 P.M. at St. Bonaventure in Bloomington Dinner at 5:00 P.M. Nickelodeon Universe 6:00-9:15 P.M. Return to St. Bonaventure at approximately 9:30 Saturday Night Alive is a middle school youth night led by our high school and adult Core Team. These nights include Mass, dinner, games, teaching, and prayer. Friends are always welcome on these evenings. This event is a collaboration with St. Boni's, which means that the start times will vary slightly each month due to different Mass times at each parish. Keep an eye out in the bulletin, this website, and your email in order to stay up to date on when Saturday Night Alive each month. |
Extreme faith camp 2018!
Nativity of Mary's Youth Group will once again travel to Zumbro Falls, MN for Extreme Faith Camp 2018! The camp is open to all students in grades 5 - 8. Mark your calendars for Monday, June 18 - Friday, June 22! It's going to be a great experience!
Parents: There is $100 deposit due with the registration. The final deadline to register for camp is Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Registration forms are available in the Parish Office. Space will be limited, so please sign up soon! If you are interested in chaperoning the event, you will receive a discount on the cost of the camp. VIRTUS: Protecting God’s ChildrenIn response to the Charter for Protection of Children and Youth, the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis offers training sessions for all adult volunteers having regular and unsupervised contact with children and youth. The program specifically addresses how entire Parish and School communities can protect all of God’s children from sexual abuse.
This program is called: VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children
A typical VIRTUS sessions lasts approximately three hours; It is REQUIRED for all volunteers working with children, youth, and vulnerable adults. Register online at http://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/.
