Nativity of Mary School

We welcome all Virtus-trained (or those willing to go through the training) parishioners to join us at Nativity of Mary School! Our students love seeing familiar faces from the parish, and there are many ways to make a difference. Your presence enriches our community, and we’re grateful for the connection we share. To learn more about our PreK - 8th grade school and to sign up, please contact the School Office at (952) 881-8160 or visit the Nativity of Mary School website.

VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children

In response to the Charter for Protection of Children and Youth, the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis offers training sessions for all adult volunteers having regular and unsupervised contact with children and youth. The program specifically addresses how entire Parish and School communities can protect all of God’s children from sexual abuse.

This program is called: VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children
A typical VIRTUS session is done online and lasts approximately three hours; It is REQUIRED for all volunteers working with children, youth, and vulnerable adults.

Register online at http://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/

Tip: When completing Virtus online registration, please use a computer instead of a phone, as steps and boxes can be easily missed on smaller screens

Our Virtus and volunteer programs are coordinated by Joanne Rachel, our Safe Environment Coordinator. If you have any questions, please email Joanne at jrachel@nativitybloomington.org.
