Youth Programs at Nativity of Mary
Youth Group: Twice-monthly Sunday evening gatherings for all high school students, featuring fellowship, small groups, games, food, prayer, service, and fun—helping teens grow in faith and build friendships within the Nativity community.
Elementary Faith Formation: Open to students in grades K–5, the program meets most Wednesdays from 6:30–8:00 PM during the school year and uses the Word of Life curriculum.
Middle School Faith Formation: Open to students in grades 6–8, the program meets most Wednesdays from 6:30–8:00 PM during the school year and uses the Word of Life curriculum.
Confirmation: This year-long Confirmation program for 9th graders meets Wednesdays from 6:30–8:00 PM, using Chosen by Ascension, and is led by church staff, seminarians, and parish volunteers.
First Reconciliation & First Communion: Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion is open to students in 2nd grade and above. This preparation is to be paired with participation in Wednesday evening Faith Formation or religion classes at a Catholic school. The program includes a parent introductory meeting, in-person family workshops, and an at-home curriculum for parents and children to work through together. We use the BLESSED program from Dynamic Catholic.
Dead Theologians Society: Catholic group for teens in grades 8–12 that meets monthly to explore the lives of the saints and be inspired to live “dead to sin and alive in Christ” (Romans 6:11).
