- Presentations on the life and teachings of Christ to help make the great mystery of God more understandable for the child
- Through geography, the words of the prophets and infancy narratives, Jesus is established as a real person
- Parables, prayers, songs, artworks & readings
- Articles of the Eucharist & Baptism; gestures of the liturgy
- The Paschal Mystery: Christ has died, Christ is risen, and Christ will come again.
A session in the Atrium (Room 204 near the Parish Office) is 90 minutes long. The Atrium is a sacred space for children, meant to inspire joy, beauty & love. It is a place of prayer, prepared especially for children to contemplate the life of Jesus and the liturgy.

VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children
In response to the Charter for Protection of Children and Youth, the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis offers training sessions for all adult volunteers having regular and unsupervised contact with children and youth. The program specifically addresses how entire Parish and School communities can protect all of God’s children from sexual abuse.
This program is called: VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children. A typical VIRTUS sessions lasts approximately three hours; It is REQUIRED for all volunteers working with children, youth, and vulnerable adults. Register online at http://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/.
