Due to the upcoming snow storm and the heavy projected snowfall, we will be canceling the 6:30 pm Mass on Ash Wednesday (2/ 22). We will still have the 8 am and 9:45 am masses with the distribution of Ashes and the Noon ash service.
It looks like this year the Lord is giving us the opportunity to enter into this penitential season with a very unique start. Part of the beauty of Lent is that it is meant to give us time to reprioritize our lives to become the disciples we are called to be. With the intense blizzard canceling most events and plans, my encouragement is to take some time of quiet and deeply pray about what disciplines the Lord is asking you to take on this Lent, and then take the next step to write them down, so that they move from an idea to a practical goal to obtain.
