Nativity of Mary School Students Bring in 3,738 Food Items for SVDP

Our St. Vincent de Paul Conference has been truly blessed with the amount of food raised by our Pre-K students who completed their school wide service project collecting food for our free food giveaways. As a school, a total of 3,738 food items were donated. Students competed as grades to see who could bring in the most food items. Our 4th graders brought in the most items with 836, followed by the 2nd graders with 619 items, and the 8th graders with 600 items. These items, along with all of the generous food items donated by our parish, will be given out to those in need in our community over the next several Free Food Giveaways.

If you’re interested in volunteering, joining the Conference or have questions about SVDP Conference, please contact Chris Dietzen at christopher.dietzen@gmail.com. If you would like to make a donation, it can be dropped off or mailed to the Parish Office. If you have an emergency need, you can contact a SVDP volunteer at 952-767-5521.
