Our Drive-Thru Prayer event has proven to be a beautiful and unique way of connecting with our community and we are excited to offer another Ad Gentes Drive-Thru Prayer Event on Thursday, August 31st from 4:30-6:30 PM. This special evangelization event brings together our faith community in a powerful demonstration of love, support, and prayer. We invite you to participate in this powerful evangelization event.
Volunteer Roles:
- Sign Holder: Stand at nearby interesections or Nativity of Mary grounds holding a sign directing passerbys to the Nativity parking lot for prayer. Sign holder will be in pairs. (Must be 18+ or accompanied by a parent).
- Prayer Team: Prayer team member will be in pairs in the Nativity Parking lot and will greet and pray with those seeking drive-thru prayer. (Must be up to date on VIRTUS training).
- Adorer: Adoration will be taking place in the church while the event is going on.
What is Ad Gentes?
The term "Ad Gentes" translates to "To the Nations," echoing the missionary spirit of the Church. Our Ad Gentes Drive-Thru Prayer Event is inspired by this spirit, as we aim to reach out to our local community with the love and compassion of Christ. It is an opportunity for us to come together as one body, sharing the gifts of prayer and intercession with all who seek it.
