Our hearts are heavy over the unspeakable trauma the children, teachers, staff, and parents of the Annunciation community are experiencing. Let us lift this community up in prayer.
Loving God,
Our hearts are broken as we lift up the community of Annunciation Catholic School.
We entrust to your mercy the two students whose lives were taken,
and we ask you to welcome them into the peace of your eternal embrace.
We pray also for the victims who were injured — bring them healing of body, mind, and spirit.
Pour out your comfort upon their families, friends, and classmates
who now carry the weight of unimaginable grief.
Surround them with your healing presence and the tender care of your Church.
Strengthen the teachers, administrators, and parents
who are striving to guide and protect in the midst of sorrow.
Bring unity, courage, and hope to all who walk this difficult road.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
wrap this community in your mantle of love,
and intercede for them with your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns forever and ever.
