Theology & Brews: Tuesday, October 14th

How do YOU define happiness? According to Aristotle, happiness is the one thing we choose for its own sake — everything else is chosen for the sake of happiness. This means that, whether or not we are consciously aware, every decision we make, every action we take, and the meaning we assign to our lives are all measured against how we define happiness. So, what is happiness, and how do YOU define it?

Join us on Tuesday, October 14th, from 6:45–8:00 PM in the Gathering Space for Theology & Brews as Fariba Roughead, PhD, CPCC, and Certified Professional Coach, offers insights on “The Science and the Theology of Happiness.”

Fariba will share how ancient philosophers and numerous classical and contemporary Catholic theologians define happiness, as well as what recent evidence from modern science adds to this crucial conversation.
